APPLE CEO and Pixar Animation Studios co-founder, Steven Jobs, hired Glinka to teach Pixar employees how to Viennese Waltz as an incentive to participate at the company’s themed wrap party for its official release of its feature film “Toy Story.” Glinka arranged for three convenient Bay Area locations for employees and their partners to attend sessions where they mastered the Viennese Waltz dance prior to the wrap party celebration which took place at the Garden Court of the Sheraton Palace Hotel, SF..
2008 KRON TV New Year's Eve Live
G linka choreographed and produced special dance segments for the 2008 KRON TV New Year’s Eve Live, from the Palace Hotel. This one-hour television broadcast featured sportscaster Vern Glenn dancing with professional Silke Heleine and Bay Area entertainment reporter Jan Wahl dancing with pro Johnny Lee. Glinka performed a spotlight dance with partner Zalman Sher and joined news anchors Gary Radnich and Catherine Heenan as commentator on this hour long television broadcast viewed by millions in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
